A place where wine lovers can experience the variety of wine cellars and wines in this small but extremely important wine-growing region in Bulgaria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: inherit; padding: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; font-family: 'PT Sans', sans-serif; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: left;\">\n<p>Behind its creation are <strong>Todor Bratanov and Kamen Koev<\/strong> the owners of winery <a href=\"\/?p=7487\">Villa Bassarea<\/a>. A few years ago, they bought the building (a former restaurant) with the intention of making a <strong>tasting room<\/strong> for their own winery, located meters away. When the time came to turn their ideas into reality, they decided that it would make more sense to offer not only their wines, but also those of <strong>all the wineries in the region<\/strong>. The monthly Wine &amp; Food events gather connoisseurs from both the region and further afield. It is carved from stone, hence its name, which is associated with the Thracian stone god Per. It is located on the Perperikon hill of the same name in the Eastern Rhodopes, 15 km northeast of Kardzhali. In the eternal city are the remains of the sanctuary of the god Dionysius with the famous altar of predictions. It has often been compared to the magnificent Temple of Apollo at Delphi. The protected area is around 3 hectares. They have been declared a natural landmark since 1974. The rock formations have the shape of natural mushrooms &#8211; their stumps are pink and their caps are greenish.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1443\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tab\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1443\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon elementor-toggle-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened\"><i class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened fas fa-caret-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"\" class=\"elementor-toggle-title\">Museum \"Thracian Art in the Eastern Rhodopes\" - Alexandrovo<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1443\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1443\"><p>The museum centre &#8220;Thracian Art in the Eastern Rhodopes&#8221; is located in the immediate vicinity of the Alexandrov Tomb. A highlight of the exhibition hall of the museum centre is the exact copy of the original tomb of Alexander. Through the replica, visitors are given the opportunity to get acquainted with a truly unique monument of ancient art in Thrace. The rich exposition also shows numerous artefacts from the Thracian period in the region of the city of Haskovo, a large part of which can be seen in the frescoes of the Alexander Tomb &#8211; weapons, jewellery, dishes,
