Main Info
Wine house Ruse/Levent is located on the banks of the river Danube in Ruse and it resides in the Levent Tabia Fortress.
The fortress is located on the highest point of the city of Ruse near the Sar Bair hill. Built at the beginning of 19th century in the past the fort used to be one of the most important defenses on the Danube border of the Ottoman Empire and the largest and strongest unit of the Ruse Ottoman fortress.
Wine cellar Levent was established in 2005 and is focused on the making of boutique wine series. They do not have their own vineyards however they process grapes specially grown for them in selected vineyards in regions that have been studied for decades. They process about 150 tons of grapes, turning them into 110,000 bottles in three series: Levent, Grand Selection и Family Selection.
The wines are aged in French and American oak barrels behind the ancient stone walls measuring up to 2.30 meters thick which guarantee a constant temperature all year round.
The complex has a restaurant which seats 150 guests in 7 halls divided thematically and richly decorated with murals.
