Main Info
Boutique wine cellar Kiossev is located in the village of Ilindentsi, at the foot of the Pirin mountain, a land where wine making and wine fairs have been celebrated for thousands of years. The mountain-surrounded village is located in one of the most environmentally friendly areas in the country.
The southwestern region of Bulgaria, the valley of the Struma river, is characterised by the alternation of cool nights and sunny and hot days. This gives the grapes captivating and memorable aromas, which are carried over and are characteristic of the wines of the “Kiossev” winery. With their attention to each grape, with a lot of love and skill, the oenologists of the winery combine the traditions of this wine region with new trends and technologies in winemaking.
The wine cellar offers visits and tastings in its tasting room (restaurant) as well as accommodation in a guest house and parking for guests.

The guest house located just 15 metres from the wine cellar, offers great conditions for an memorable holiday, weekend or meeting with friends in a quiet and peaceful place. It has 4 separate hotel rooms, each of them equipped with a double bed, sofa, TV, air conditioning and Internet access, as well as a private bathroom.
The outside richly landscaped and beautifully arranged with paths, flowers and vines can also be used as a garden to the restaurant for larger events during the months of March till November (adding about 50 additional seats).
The annual production capacity of the cellar is not large – from 40,000 to 50,000 bottles but with some additional equipment it can reach up to 60-70,000 bottles. The winery is equipped with a laboratory for the analysis of both grapes and wine. Currently the cellar has wine in bottles, barrels and containers.
