Main Info
The winery began its journey in 2007 in the area Sharovitsa near the village of Karabunar and it was renamed Via Vinera in 2017, the name it still holds today. The change was a result of the owners’ desire to continue the traditions of the region, giving them a modern sound, as well as to build their own identity.
The winery choses to trust in the artisan approach as well as the modern technologies available by combining the styles of two Bulgarian terroirs – that of the Thracian lowlands (Karabunar village) and that of the Danube plain (Kilifarevo town). This brave venture is successful thanks to the creative and experimenting spirit of the oenologist Nadezhda Diulgerska who has more than 18 years of exprirence in wine making.
The wines of Via Vinera are showcased in 4 series: Via Vinera, as well as the well known Bulgarian Heritage, Contour и Castellum.
In order to enjoy each wine fully you can visit the wine cellar Via Vinera near the village of Karabunar where you can immerse yourselves in the authentic wine atmosphere and learn more about the production of wine. It is preferrable that you make a booking in advance.
