LONA est VIA is a wine project which plans to build its own wine cellar in the village of Sredno Gradishte, near Chirpan. On the land of the village they grow 40 decares of vineyards with Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Melo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc varieties and the first harvest is 2020. The production is small, only 15 000 bottles per year and they have no plans on increasing it.
The vines are on gray forest and very stony soils at 380 m above sea level in an airy area.
In the same region LONA est VIA grow 90 decares of lavender and 30 decares of roses from which they produce essential oils in their own distilery in the village. Right there among the spacecious green yard full of flowers and lavender LONA est VIA plan on hosting outdoor wine events. A small vineyard with 11 wine and dessert grape varieties hints at plans to build a cellar and until then wine lovers can taste their wines from the 2020 vintage, as well as visit the distillery and make time for gorgeous photos among the lavender and rose fields from late May to the end of July.
Each year in the village of Sredno Gradishte, near Chirpan there’s an International Lavender Festival and the distillery is one of the locations open for visits.
LONA est VIA is specifically suitable for outdoor corporate events, personal celebrations, wine tasting for wine enthusiasts and team building exercises.
